We are thrilled to have secured this filly for the stable. She is a half-sister to our own Ndola who has shown a lot of promise as a 3YO, already having 3 wins and running second in a Gr.3. We are hopeful this colt will add a few pedigree updates for this filly in the future. The dam of this filly, HEAR THE CHANT, was a quality city mare for the stable, winning five including the Gr.3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes. She is now having great success as a broodmare with three foals to race for three winners.
Physically, there is a lot about this filly that reminds us of Mum being the same colour and with similar markings. By SHAMUS AWARD, this filly has good scope and length with a beautiful free-flowing, relaxed walk. This filly was selected as an Oaks prospect, we think she will make a quality 3YO and beyond. Shamus Award has produced some quality fillies so far in his career with 3x Gr.1 winner DUAIS, as well as Gr.1 winners QUINTESSA, EL PATRONESS and MEDIA AWARD - three of those four fillies winning an Oaks.
