Sarah Fanin (Pakenham)

Assistant Trainer

Heading our Pakenham team is a name and face familiar to our owners and followers of the stable. Sarah Fanin, previously a foreman at our Flemington operation, has rejoined the Lindsay Park team as an Assistant Trainer to be based at Pakenham. Originally from across the ditch, Sarah was involved with horses from a young age competing in showjumping during her school years. Once at University in Palmerston North, Sarah started to work for trainers out of Awapuni while studying towards a degree in Psychology. 
Joining Lindsay Park in late 2019 as a trackwork rider, Sarah’s horsemanship, work-ethic and conscientious attitude saw her rise through the ranks quickly. Soon she was travelling horses around the country, and not long after that she was promoted to Foreman at our Flemington stable.
Sarah came back onboard as our Assistant Trainer at Pakenham in April 2024.
