Maurice is now the sire of five Group One winners including triple Australian Classic winner HITOTSU & sensational sprinter MAZU.
In 2022/23 Maurice was Australia’s Champion Third Season Sire and he continues to do a great job at stud, standing at Arrowfield in the Hunter Valley.
This filly is out of the very well performed mare, The Closer, who has 4 wins to her name and was twice 4th in Group Two company. This is a nice strong pedigree with the fillies third dam being multiple Group One winner MAGICAL MISS.
With this in mind this filly has an excellent mix of both stamina and speed in her pedigree which should make for an exciting horse for the racetrack.
Ben, Will and JD have already liked what they have seen from this filly during her orientation preparation here at Lindsay Park Euroa, she has a great temperament and good athletic ability. To the left you can watch footage of her most recent extension up the hill at Euroa on December 9th.
She is currently deep into her first training preparation and all going well will head off property for her first jump out towards the end of December or early January 2025.
