Sydney Stakes Success

The Sydney stable ran hot over The Championships at Randwick in Sydney.

Securing three stakes race wins and two stakes race seconds, the small team of horses based at our Randwick stable proudly flew the flag for Lindsay Park.

Muraaqeb, set the ball rolling capturing the Gr 3 China Horse Club Carbine Club Stakes on Day 1 of the Carnival. The 3yo was the first of two stakes winners for Shadwell, with their 2yo filly Futooh following up wiinning in the Listed China Horse Club Mile.

The filly by Seabring narrowly defeated stablemate Muswellbrook (g by Denman) owned and bred by long term clients Devitt and Gordon. In another stakes place second, Ventura Storm ran a brave race in the Gr 2 Chairmans Quality over 3200m.

An eye catching performance by 3yo filly and last year's Gr1 Blue Diamond winner Catchy, showed she's back. An accelerating win in the Gr 2 Arrowfield Sprint has her heading to Gr 1 contests in the Adelaide Carnival.

With 2yos to the fore, the stable's season record stands at 22 juvenile wins to include 8 individual 2yo stakes winners for 10 stakes wins ( to 27th April, 2018).
