Muraaqeb Gr 3 Carbine Club Stakes

Muraaqeb earned his first black-type win in fine style at Royal Randwick on Saturday taking the China Horse Club Carbine Club Stakes (1(600m).

The three-year-old son of Snitzel has been highly rated since his third in the 2017 edition of the Black Opal Stakes in Canberra.

Bred and raced by Shadwell Stud, the three times winner nailed his fourth victory with Damien Oliver aboard in front of a Randwick Championships crowd and will most likely head to the Gr 3 Frank Packer Plate at Randwick.

Congratulations to Shadwell Stud who continue their good run of success with both home-breds and yearlings purchased by Angus Gold.
