Milestone 250 Wins

Lindsay Park reaches 250 milestone
By Luke Sheehan
Lindsay Park hit the milestone of 250 winners this Australian season, striking with an early two-track double on Saturday.

Wanted Diva made it back-to-back wins when she held on to claim the Dominant Cleaning Solutions Handicap (1200m) for two-year-olds at Moonee Valley, before Booradley saluted at Bendigo in the Bendigo Toyota 3YO Maiden Plate (1000m) by 2.5 lengths.

The Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock-owned filly was ridden to a narrow win by Craig Williams, who had to fight off the Mick Kent-trained Behave.

"She made it look tough, but in actual fact, she was just waiting for competition," Williams said.

"They went slow, and I was able to come back, and she rested well for me.

"But when I asked her to get ready to go, her response was very sharp.

ATB's Darren Dance said Wanted Diva has defied their early expectations of her, with two wins from three starts.

"She's a homebred. Most of the owners, we owned the mare (Rock Diva)," Dance said.

"She's the third foal we got out of the mare, being by Wanted we weren't too excited early. She's good, tough and has come on from Cranbourne. Full credit to Craig's ride, I thought it was outstanding."
