Five winners Three States One Day

Grande Rosso completed a Caulfield treble and topped off five stable winners for the day across Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.

Grabbing victory in the last at Caulfield The six-year-old's victory in the 1400m Handicap followed the stable's Gr 1 success with Vega Magic in the Memsie Stakes (1400m) and Listed Heatherlie Stakes success with Hell Or Highwater.

While Sydney saw Fastnet Rock 3yo filly Formality thrill all in a tight finish to take the Gr 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) at Randwick. Only minutes later 6yo mare Dane Hussler scored her second hurdle victory at Morphettville in Adelaide.

Ridden by Craig Williams, Grande Rosso (Big Red as he looks) scored a short half head win and is on his way to bigger things.

"He'll get in a race like the Rupert Clarke (1400m) to be run at Caulfield on October 1 with a light weight at his third run for the prep and will be very hard to beat." Said David.

Grande Rosso with his big team of owners landed his fifth win since joining the stable after previously being prepared by Mark Riley.

Thanks to his owners we are fortunate to have Big Red at Lindsay Park and on track to big things.
