Ennis Hill Blue Diamond Bound

Impressive Fastnet Rock filly, Ennis Hill scored a soft one-and-a-half length win in the Gr 3 Chairman's Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield to stake her claim on a $1.5 million Blue Diamond start.

Ridden by Stephen Baster today, the daughter of former Lindsay Park stakes winner, Hips Don't Lie, races in the Coolmore colours and now joins stablemates Long Leaf, Nasaayim and Qafila as confirmed runners in Victoria’s richest juvenile race on February 24 at Caulfield.

Ennis Hill is the fourth individual 2yo stakes winner this season for Lindsay Park who has claimed 12 juvenile wins by 10 individuals.

Last year, Lindsay Park trained Fastnet Rock filly Formality, also in the Coolmore blue, to win the Chairman's Stakes and she then went on to run third to stablemate Catchy in the Blue Diamond.

Can history somewhat repeat...
