Angel on Debut

All in good timing for the commencement of the Magic Millions yearlings sales, two-year-old filly, Angel,, who is a half-sister to Blue Diamond winner Miracles Of Life, posted an impressive 1.75 length win in the Ribblesdale The Black Type Stud 2YO Fillies Maiden (1118m) at Geelong.

Angel, who cost $1.2 million at last year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, is the fourth foal to race out of the More Than Ready mare Dazzling Gazelle.

Miracles Of Life was her first foal and won the 2013 Blue Diamond Stakes and 2015 Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes at her final racetrack appearance.

Angel became the stable's fourth individual 2yo winner for season, tallying a stable fifth 2yo win.

Congratulations to owners Coolmore Stud and Stonestreet Farm.
